Dr Greg Martin is a seasoned professional in the field of medicine and public health, currently serving as the Director of the Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) in Ireland. With a robust academic background, including a Medical degree, an MBA, and a Masters in Public Health, Dr Martin brings an integrative approach to public health and research.

His earlier roles include Programme Manager at the World Health Organization and Director of EMTCT at the Clinton Health Access Initiative. Dr. Martin also made significant contributions as the Head of Science and Research at the World Cancer Research Fund, underlining his commitment to battling one of the world's most critical health challenges.

A notable figure in academia, he is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the respected academic journal, Globalization and Health, and has a strong track record in publishing influential papers. His teaching expertise extends to research methods, R programming, epidemiology, and public health, demonstrating a deep passion for knowledge sharing and mentorship.
